Coming Home To Writing This internet-based class helps writers to touch base, ask the big questions, and get some work done. Through interactive workshops, easy homework, personal writing deadlines, a “Studio Pack” of materials to feed the writing life and feedback from me, writers will be invited to go inside, understand their creativity and spend more time here.
Six Reasons You’re Not Writing Right Now… and Six Ways to Start This e-class is designed to help you get past your blocks and back to the page. The workshop includes audio sessions, radical permission slips and real advice on working through some of the most common writing blocks. It consists of six modules, which you can choose to receive daily, weekly or monthly.
Love Letters Aren’t Just For Lovers Letters are a beautiful way to come back to writing after a break, or to bring more intimacy and richness to your writing life. This class can be used as a tool to reach out to people in your life, or just to quietly expand your writing practice. It lasts 7 weeks, and includes prompts to write on, love letters to take inspiration from, weekly projects and a brainstorm tool to explore who you might write to.
The Blog Shop This workshop takes place twice a year. It’s a live event, streamed from my kitchen. All participants receive a workbook and “writing studio pack” in the mail before the workshop, with all the materials they’ll need (including chocolate) to work through on the set day. Together, we’ll explore why you blog, and how you can get your message out to the world with even more energy and love. You will leave with lots of new ideas and posts started.
This workshop will run again September 28, 2013. Registration is currently open.
Sparkles This 31-day workshop gives you 31 creative projects you can complete in under 5 minutes. It’s run by Jamie Ridler Studios, and I’m one of the guest teachers. Note: This isn’t strictly a writing class, the idea is to help participants get their creativity moving generally.
