Keep Your Pen Moving
A workshop for anyone who wants bulgy hand muscles
This lively class is ideal for beginner writers, seasoned writers, stuck writers, writers-in-waiting, writers with day jobs, writers who don’t call themselves writers just yet, and anyone who want a regular date with their creative selves. We’ll write quickly and slowly, seriously and playfully, letters, poems, tributes, rants, memories, tiny stories and passionate diatribes. Come to dip your toes into the beautiful world of your own words. The course includes tea, snacks, loads of encouragement, and absolutely no homework.

The Workshop Club
Because sometimes we need a little help from our friends.
This group is for five self-starting writers with projects on the go who crave a little community to keep them accountable, connected and writing. We’ll start the series with a session of free-writing and discussing where each of us is at on our writing paths, and where we would like to go. Each student will introduce their current project to the group, and will bring a short excerpt for discussion and light workshopping.
The remaining five sessions will be devoted to workshopping. Each night will consist of two warmup writing activities and two in-depth workshopping periods. Each student will bring work to the group for workshopping twice in six weeks, and will share freewrites throughout the sessions.
The focus will be on creating a space of warmth and inclusivity for all writing voices to shine. Come expecting to unearth new directions and depths in your writing, and a new sense of yourself as part of a community of other writers.
